On this Day

On this day,  a magnolia bloomed. There were lightning bugs, bullfrogs, and a nest of baby woodpeckers. An abscess broke through on a horse hoof. 

A skeleton was decorated with stars and dressed in red, white, and blue.  American flags and a heart with SS United States were left close to the iconic ship.  "I love you" was written on a side outside Mobile metro jail. 

Petals dropped from roses left on the door of a barbershop. The note read, "Vernon, my friend, I will miss you always." There were messages on the remembrances sign: "I will miss your smile through the window," "We always liked when you waved at us through the window and gave us bubble gum," and "Heavens got a helluva barber now."
