Sand fleas were caught as bait for pompano by a farmer on his annual
family vacation. He raises cattle on his organic farm in southwest Missouri but calls himself a grass farmer because a historic drought a few years ago forced him to cut his herd.

A shrimp boat trolled the coast of southern Mobile Bay, and seagulls
were silhouetted in the sunset.
